Most undergraduates at the University of North Dakota (UND) are familiar with Merrifield Hall, a significant building on the west side of the Campus Quad. Constructed in 1929, it was once the largest classroom facility in the state and remains UND's most utilized space for general classrooms.

The hall has been unavailable for classes and meetings due to extensive renovations, leaving a noticeable gap in campus facilities. Its reopening for spring semester classes marks an important occasion for students and faculty alike.

To commemorate this event, UND photographers and videographers have created a detailed photo and video feature. This presentation highlights Merrifield Hall's history over several decades and showcases the recent renovations that have revitalized this key academic space.
