UND has partnered with StackRoute Learning, a subsidiary of the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT), to offer online technology boot camps. These programs focus on rapidly expanding fields such as cybersecurity, cloud systems administration, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and software development.
This collaboration aims to combine UND's commitment to academic excellence with StackRoute Learning’s expertise in professional training. The goal is to provide students with innovative educational opportunities that align with the demands of today's technological landscape.
StackRoute Learning is part of NIIT, which partners with over 90 Fortune 500 companies for IT skill development. The company focuses on methodologies and certification-oriented training that help learners acquire necessary skills and gain recognized credentials for a competitive edge in the job market.
The boot camps offer a curriculum designed to cater to both students' and employers' needs. Participants will engage in hands-on learning using current tools and technologies while also preparing for certifications relevant to their chosen field.
In addition to technical skills, the program provides career development support and soft skills training. This includes personalized coaching, resume and interview workshops, virtual internships for real-world experience, and AI-driven tutoring.
“These boot camps are a natural extension of UND’s mission to provide innovative educational pathways that prepare students to thrive in a rapidly changing world,” stated Lynette Krenelka from UND's Office of Extended Learning.
Rob Bishop from StackRoute expressed similar sentiments: “NIIT and StackRoute are proud to partner with UND... Together, we are creating a platform for learners to access industry-relevant skills and transformative career opportunities.”
The boot camps are entirely online, allowing flexibility for participants nationwide who wish to enhance their skills alongside other responsibilities.
