With midterm exams approaching and spring break on the horizon, University of North Dakota (UND) Student Body Vice President Maya Orvis and President Andrew Armacost discussed resources available to students for managing stress. The conversation comes as UND experiences a record high enrollment of over 14,500 students this spring.

President Armacost asked Orvis to highlight the health and wellness programs offered at UND. Orvis mentioned that the Wellness Center provides year-round programs that benefit both mental and physical health. Additionally, she emphasized that the University Counseling Center is accessible to students free of charge, offering support for issues such as stress management and substance use.

Orvis also noted that Student Government representatives will be present at the Memorial Union through Wednesday this week, distributing drinks, snacks, and flowers. She encouraged students to stop by for refreshments and engage with their peers.
