The U.S. Air Force Academy Band's Stellar Brass is set to perform a free concert at Minot State University's Ann Nicole Nelson Hall on March 19 at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature patriotic music and honor the contributions of past and present service members, alongside classical and jazz selections.

Senior leadership from the 5th Bomb Wing and the 91st Missile Wing from Minot AFB will also be in attendance to speak. The concert is open to the public without charge.

As one of two premier Air Force bands west of the Appalachian Mountains, the USAF Academy Band supports over 4,000 cadets at the United States Air Force Academy through music that inspires personnel and promotes excellence globally.

Stellar Brass, praised by the International Trumpet Guild for its "variety, panache, and virtuosity," performs a wide range of musical styles. The quintet supports training for Air Force Academy Cadets and represents the Air Force as musical ambassadors internationally.

The band performs under Lieutenant General Tony Bauernfeind's auspices, aiming to develop leaders dedicated to lifelong service in both the Air Force and Space Force.

All performances are free for public attendance. For press inquiries, contact MSgt Gerald Welker.

Minot State University is committed to education excellence through rigorous academics, active learning environments, public service commitment, and vibrant campus life.
