The Minot State Department of Science is set to hold its annual Science Open House on Tuesday, February 18. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cyril Moore Science Center and Swain Hall.
This invitational event targets regional schools, specifically students from third to sixth grade, though it welcomes participants as young as second grade and as old as eighth grade. The event is expected to draw around 300 students this year. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in various hands-on demonstrations throughout the day at both Cyril Moore and Swain Hall. Additionally, Magic Shows are scheduled in Hoffman Auditorium (Cyril Moore 16) between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
