Most recently, Elora Passa served as an assistant volleyball coach at Mayville State, a position she has held since February 2024. She has also been involved with the program as a graduate assistant and served as a volleyball camp coordinator and coach. Her experience includes student recruitment, individual and team development, strength and conditioning, scheduling, tournament organization, and relationship building.

“We are very happy to have Elora Passa join us as head volleyball coach,” said Mayville State Athletic Director Rocky Larson. “She is a respected member of the Mayville State family who has proven her abilities and commitment to success. We look forward to having her serve in this important leadership role.”

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue my coaching and teaching career at Mayville State University. I have received an immense amount of support as I continue to grow in my career,” said Coach Passa. “Thank you to President Van Horn, Rocky Larson, and many others who have believed in me as I step into this new role. I am excited to be returning with a great group of student athletes who have continued to trust me throughout this process. We are so excited for the upcoming season with the continuous support of the university and community.”

Mayville State University President Dr. Brian Van Horn praised Passa's leadership skills from her time as a student athlete: “It’s clear she’ll continue to grow and improve our volleyball program for years to come. We’re ecstatic about the direction and culture she’ll build for MSU Volleyball.”

In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Passa is an instructor in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation at Mayville State.
