GlobalND in Minot is set to welcome six Palestinian educators from April 15 to 19. This visit is organized under the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of the U.S. State Department, with a focus on "Secondary School Administration."

GlobalND, a non-profit organization run entirely through volunteer efforts, aims to build international bonds and understanding through direct diplomatic exchange. The organization, originally formed in 1993 as the Minot Area Council for International Visitors, collaborates closely with Minot State University and the broader community. It is affiliated with the Global Ties US Network and works with the IVLP of the U.S. State Department.

During their stay, the Palestinian educators have a range of appointments arranged by GlobalND, including visits to the Minot Area Workforce Academy and the ASTEP program at the North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities. Additionally, their itinerary includes a tour of the Scandinavian Heritage Center Park and meals with local families.

Following their time in Minot, the educators will continue to Cincinnati for more meetings and demonstrations.

For additional details on the visit, GlobalND can be contacted via email or through Joseph Jastrzembski at (701) 858-3322. More information about GlobalND can be found on their official website and Facebook page.

Minot State University is a public institution committed to high standards in education, research, and community interaction through comprehensive educational experiences, dedicated public service, and dynamic campus life.
