The good news is North Dakota’s e-cigarette and cigarette usage rate is decreasing

Grand Forks Public Health Department issued the following announcement.

Fun flavors, stronger nicotine, colorful packaging…all tricks by tobacco companies to target teens. The good news is North Dakota’s e-cigarette and cigarette usage rate is decreasing. The bad news is tobacco companies must constantly find new customers, and teens are a target.

If you know a teen who’s been caught in the bullseye of tobacco or nicotine use, tell them to text “Start My Quit” to 36072 or text VAPEFREEND to 88709 to get started.
