The University of North Dakota (UND) has been recognized as one of the "50 Best Places to Work in 2025" by Prairie Business Magazine. The annual list is compiled based on reader feedback, with this year's selection drawn from more than 1,600 nominations.
Prairie Business Magazine features the selected organizations alphabetically in its latest issue. Grand Forks, home to UND, had 10 companies on the list, while Fargo accounted for 15.
Peggy Varberg, associate vice president for Human Resources at UND, commented on the recognition: “This recognition reflects the spirit of our people,” said Peggy Varberg, UND associate vice president for Human Resources. “We have a team of passionate, hard-working individuals who care deeply about our students, are committed to student success and the fostering of a supportive and collaborative campus.
