University of North Dakota schedules State of the University Address for August 21

President Andrew Armacost of the University of North Dakota will deliver the annual State of the University Address on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. The event is set to take place in the Memorial Union ballrooms and will also be available via livestream for those who cannot attend in person.

During the address, President Armacost is expected to discuss upcoming initiatives that the university plans to undertake in the new academic year. Faculty and staff are invited to attend both the address and a picnic at University House following the event.

“Join President Andrew Armacost and fellow University leaders at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, for the president’s State of the University Address, where he will discuss the exciting initiatives UND will be working on during the upcoming academic year,” according to an announcement from university officials.

The annual address provides an opportunity for university leadership to outline priorities and goals as well as engage with faculty and staff before classes begin.
