Mayville State University has announced that several of its student-athletes have been recognized as Daktronics/NAIA Scholar Athlete All-Americans. This distinction is awarded to students who excel both in their sports and academics.
In softball, the honorees include Ryanne Bass from Elie, Manitoba; Mackenzie Hughes from Thompson, North Dakota; Desiree Lawrence from Champaign, Illinois; Lacey Mathiowetz from Sleepy Eye, Minnesota; Autumn McGough from Horace, North Dakota; Koral Perez from Billings, Montana; Madison Terres from Cold Spring, Minnesota; Lindsey Tulla from Bovey, Minnesota; Kate Vigen from Frazee, Minnesota; and Maizie Wolanski from Cartier, Manitoba.
The women’s golf team features Kaylee de Rocquigny of St. Claude, Manitoba as a scholar athlete.
From the baseball team, Zachary Evanochko of Winnipeg, Manitoba; Cole Fischer of Clarkfield, Minnesota; Avery Kirkup of Souris, Manitoba; Owen Kolbinger of Becker, Minnesota; and Ethan Tingey of Brigham City, Utah have been named to the list.
For men’s golf at Mayville State University, Brandon Albrecht from Grafton, North Dakota; Damian Pokrzywinski from Drayton, North Dakota; and Anderson Werner from Regina Saskatchewan are recognized for their achievements.
