UND President Andrew Armacost recently joined Associate Professor Paul Traynor in a conversation about the new Business & Non-Profit Law Clinic at the University of North Dakota. This initiative is in collaboration with the Center for Innovation and aims to provide complimentary legal assistance to small businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits that lack the financial resources for such services.

The clinic involves second- and third-year law students who perform the work under the guidance of licensed attorneys, including Traynor himself. These students benefit by gaining experiential credits.

President Armacost and Professor Traynor also discussed the clinic's role in supporting local startups and nonprofits, which are likely to have connections with UND and contribute to the strengthening of the local and regional economic landscape.
