The Minot State University Alumni Association has announced the availability of tickets for the 41st annual MSU Gala. The event will be held on Friday, May 9, at the Clarion Hotel, with proceedings set to begin at 5 p.m.
This yearly event serves as the Alumni Association’s main fundraiser, collecting resources for student scholarships and programming. Participants will have access to a cocktail hour and a silent auction. An elegant dinner and live auction will follow. The silent auction opens for early bids on Monday, May 5, at 4 p.m. and concludes on Friday at 9 p.m.
Attendees can engage in mobile bidding for the auction. This year's event includes a $5,000 cash prize giveaway, sponsored by Integrity Dividend Harvest Fund, and a bourbon raffle featuring rare bottles, supported by 701 Realty, Creedence Energy Services, and Rolac Contracting. Events also include the Heads ‘n’ Tails game and First Western Bank's Deal or No Deal, which offers a $500 cash prize.
The live auction highlights include a vacation in Belize, tickets to the 16th hole Skybox at the Phoenix Waste Management Open, and a VIP Night of Art with Walter Piehl.
Courtenay Brekhus, director of alumni engagement, stated, “This year’s Gala is going to be one for the record books. We’ve got some exciting surprises to unveil, so you won’t want to miss out! The support we get from the community for this event each year is truly remarkable.”
Tickets for individual attendees are priced at $75, with additional options for corporate sponsors and table pricing. Semiformal attire is advised. Tickets are available for purchase online.
