Minot State FBLA earns accolades at state leadership conference in Mandan

Thirteen members from the Minot State chapter attended the North Dakota Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) - Collegiate State Leadership Conference (SLC) in Mandan on March 23-24. Participants had the opportunity to network with business professionals, engage in leadership workshops, and compete in various events alongside collegiate chapters from North and South Dakota.

The Minot State chapter was honored with the Dorothy L. Travis Outstanding Chapter award, which recognizes the highest level of participation and achievement. Minot State also received accolades for Largest Local Chapter Membership with 16 active members and the Largest Percentage of Retention of Chapter Membership with a 25% retention rate from the previous year. Jan Repnow was awarded the North Dakota Outstanding Local Chapter Adviser.

Alec Wolf and Emma Taylor, serving as vice presidents on the 2024-2025 North Dakota officer team, were instrumental in organizing the conference. Both, along with Mason Lemar, were named 2024-2025 Who’s Who recipients. Alec Wolf was elected as the 2025-2026 ND FBLA - Collegiate President.

All participating members qualified to advance to the National FBLA - Collegiate conference, scheduled to be held in Dallas, Texas, from May 31 to June 2.
