Mayville State University and Williston State College have formed a partnership to provide students with an opportunity to transition smoothly into Mayville State's bachelor's degree program. This collaboration aims to address workforce needs in western North Dakota by offering affordable, local access to higher education.

The new program will offer various learning formats, including in-person, hybrid, and virtual options. Students will receive joint advising services designed to ensure a smooth transition from an associate degree at Williston State College to a bachelor's degree at Mayville State University.

Dr. Brian Van Horn, President of Mayville State University, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative: “Mayville State University is excited about the opportunity to partner with Williston State College and to expand our renowned education programs to further serve western North Dakota. We have been fortunate to serve many students from the Williston area in the past, and we look forward to a renewed opportunity to provide additional workforce support to this region.”
