The Mayville State University Classroom Building was filled with festive music on December 9 as the Mayville State Music Department hosted its holiday concert. The event featured performances by the MSU Concert Choir and MSU Concert Band, directed by Dr. Byron Ward.
The program included various small vocal and instrumental groups. A special brass quintet performed five lively pieces, including “Jingle Bells” and “Feliz Navidad.” The quintet comprised Dr. Byron Ward, Herb Thomson, Father Eric Olsen, Dera Johnson, and Daniel Bussian.
The evening concluded with a grand finale where all performers joined the audience for “A Holiday Sing-Along,” arranged by Audrey Snyder.
