The Minot State University Alumni Association will host its 40th annual Gala Dinner and Auction on Friday, May 17, at the Clarion Hotel in Minot, North Dakota. This event celebrates the university's history, alumni, and students with a social gathering, dinner, silent auction, and live auction. The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour followed by dinner at 7 p.m., culminating in a live auction.

The silent auction is conducted through mobile bidding starting Monday, May 13, at 3 p.m., concluding during the gala at 8 p.m. The event raises funds for student scholarships and activities sponsored by the Alumni Association.

Tickets for the gala are available individually for $75 or as tables for eight priced at $600. Courtenay Brekhus, director of alumni engagement, stated: “We invite you to join us for an evening of elegance and entertainment at the MSU Gala, our premier event of the year,” adding that it is an opportunity to celebrate "our alumni, friends, and supporters while raising important funds for student scholarships and the Alumni Association."

This semi-formal fundraiser supports educational opportunities and community engagement initiatives facilitated by Minot State University. For more information about attending or supporting this event, interested parties can contact Brekhus via phone.

Minot State University emphasizes excellence in education through active learning environments and public service commitments within a vibrant campus life.
