Minot State announces spring academic honors

Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota, has announced the names of students who have achieved academic honors for the Spring 2024 semester. According to MSU President Dr. Steven Shirley, a total of 474 students were named to the President’s List. Additionally, 258 students earned a place on the Vice President for Academic Affairs’ Honor Roll, and six students were recognized on the Engagement Honor Roll.

To qualify for the President’s List, students must have achieved a term grade point average of 3.8 or higher while enrolled in at least 12 credits during the Spring 2024 semester. This honor is noted on their transcripts for that semester.

Students with a term grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79, also enrolled in at least 12 credits during the same period, were placed on the VPAA list. This achievement is similarly recorded on their transcripts.

The Engagement Honor Roll acknowledges undergraduate students who participate in engagement activities at MSU. To be eligible, students must complete a minimum of 50 hours of verified engagement activities within any given term. This recognition is also included in their academic records.
