Nelson County Arts Council issued the following announcement on April 6.
Did you know that some schools around Nelson County have eliminated their art program? Come and show support for those programs that are still in existence. Then let the schools know that the arts are important in a student's education. If they don't receive that instruction in elementary and high school, they may never get it in their lifetime. The NCAC Student Art Show opens today!
