University Lutheran Church issued the following announcement on March 27.
This is our group from ULC which packed food for Feed My Starving Children today - minus the Arens family (Sorry!). We were part of a group of 210, and we packed 264 boxes of food. This is 57,024 meals or 2 meals a day for 78 children for 1 year. Wow!
ULC has also donated $5,092 (so far) of the $65,000 we needed to raise for this event. It has truly been a whole congregational effort. Thank you to everyone, especially our fearless leader Patty Olsen!
