City of Thompson recently issued the following announcement.
SDSWMA will be hosting a Manager of Landfill Operations (MOLO) Certification Course on April 5-8, 2022 at the AmericInn Hotel & Conference Center in Fort Pierre, SD. CLICK HERE for a copy of the course flyer.
REGISTRATION
South Dakota Residents:
Member Registration - $500/person
Non-Member Registration - $600/person
Non South Dakota Residents:
Member Registration - $850/person
Non-Member Registration - $1,500/person
ACCOMMODATIONS
A block of hotel rooms are available at the AmericInn for $99.99/night plus tax. Please call (605) 223-2358 and ask for SD Solid Waste Management to receive the block rate.
NOTE
Test for the MOLO Certification is done ON-LINE. Once you complete the MOLO Course, SWANA will email you a link to the test. You will have 3 hours to complete the test and you have up to 6 months after the course to take the test. The last day of the course, April 8th, is reserved for course review and questions.
