The University of North Dakota announced on Apr. 15 that its softball team’s three-game series against South Dakota has been rescheduled because of expected weather conditions.

The change affects the timing of the games, which were originally set for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The games will now be played on Saturday at 5 p.m., Sunday at 3 p.m., and Monday at 1 p.m. All contests are scheduled to take place at Albrecht Field.

According to the university’s announcement, each game will be broadcast on Midco Sports and the Summit League Network. Fans can also follow updates through North Dakota Softball’s social media accounts or by visiting FightingHawks.com.

No additional background information was provided regarding previous matchups or implications for league standings. The adjustment is being made solely in response to anticipated weather disruptions in Grand Forks.

The revised schedule aims to ensure player safety while maintaining the full slate of conference competition.
