Leo Galliano was named Men’s Tennis Singles Peak Performer of the Week, league officials announced on Mar. 31. The recognition follows his recent performance for North Dakota in singles competition.

Galliano’s achievement highlights his continued strong play this season. His success from the top singles position has contributed to North Dakota’s results and reflects his consistency throughout the year.

In a home match against Drake on Saturday, Galliano secured a straight-sets victory with scores of 6-2 and 7-5 from the No. 1 court. This win was instrumental in helping North Dakota achieve a narrow 4-3 team victory over the Bulldogs and extended Galliano’s personal singles record to an undefeated 14-0 at the top spot.

This is Galliano’s third career singles peak performer award. He is originally from Chalais, Switzerland.
