On Saturday, March 1, former Thompson High School standout Devin Brooks’ current college team, the Alabama State Hornets, lost 11-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The game took place at Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Leathernecks this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 12 p.m. at Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex against Western Illinois Leathernecks.
